Feodorovskaya Mother Of God was painted on wood with special paint called Egg tempera with fine detail . This miniature icon is covered for protection with beautiful silver riza(cover) hallmarked 84 and initials of silversmith. It is a very collectible piece and has been preserved very well. The icon is 100% original and comes with a certificate of authenticity. The size of this icon 4.4" x 3.5" x 0.6" It would make a great addition to one's collection
