Fernando De Filippi - “I pensieri del poeta” - large-sized serigraph, 140 x 100 cm (2 sheets measuring 70 x 100 with handmade details) . Hand-signed - 29/40. First solo exhibition in Lecce in 1959, then he did more than 200 solo exhibitions in Italy and abroad (New York, San Francisco, Warsaw, Belgrade, Paris, Brussels, Geneva, Lisbon, Vancouver, Malta) ; he was present in 5 editions of the Venice Biennale (1970/1972/1976 with a room/1978/1980 special projects) , in the IX, X, XI, XII Rome Quadrennial, in the 1981 Triennale di Milano. He also participated in “Arte in Italia dal 1960/1975”, modern art gallery of Turin; “Arte Italiana”, Haward Gallery, London; “Le Linee della ricerca artistica in Italia”, Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome; “Aspetti della Pittura Italiana dal dopoguerra ai nostri giorni”, São Paulo and Rio Museum of Modern Art; “Pittura a Milano dal 1945 al 1990”. In 1998 he held an important solo exhibition in Milan at the prestigious Palazzo Reale.
