This is not a car with aggressive lines, not a car that you would want to have in the colour Rosso Corsa necessarily. This is a four-people Grand Tourer from Maranello, an evolution of classics like the 250 GTE, the 330 GT 2+2, the 365 GTC/4 and the 400. The shape of the Ferrari 456 embodies style and class. The Ferrari 456 was introduced in 1992. Designed by the people at Pininfarina, the car was available in a manual variant with six gears and as a 4-speed automatic. Under the hood is a 5. 5 litre V12 engine with the performance of a supercar. Its 442 horsepower makes the car accelerate from 0-100 in 5. 1 seconds and enables a top speed of 310 km/h. In 1998, the i’s were dotted with the introduction of an improved version, the 456M (Modificato) . At first glance, not much seems to be changed compared to the 456. But a second glance reveals a whole list of adjustments. Most noticeable are the air intakes on the bonnet that disappeared on the M variant and a different placement concerning the fog lights. New seats and a different layout of the dashboard enhance the driving experience. Mechanically speaking, a different ignition sequence of the cylinders ensures a smoother running engine. This is a 456M GTA with automatic transmission, in other words the Modificato version. The car comes in a beautiful colour combination: Grigo Titan with a black leather interior. Tubi exhaust silencers are mounted so the V12 sound stands out more. Original silencers of course present. Originally supplied to the owner in Luxembourg in 2000. Subsequently, this car has had only 2 other owners. The maintenance booklets are of course present and complete. These show that this car was only serviced by renowned Ferrari specialists. The most recent service including Dutch periodic vehicle inspection (APK) took place on 26-04-2019.
