Fiat - 500 695 SS Tribute "NO RESERVE" - 1975

Beautiful Abarth 695 with SS trim, an excellent tribute to this fantastic version of the Fiat 500. The project starts with a 1975 Fiat 500 R, original Fiat 233 white in excellent condition in terms of maintenance, with only one owner. After a careful and complete disassembly up to the chassis, the wheel arches were enlarged by a highly skilled and elderly body shop mechanic. He then replaced some sheet metal with new original ones, and finally treated the entire surface with anti-rust epoxy primer and repainted the full bodywork. After that, it was taken to a prestigious mechanical workshop, where they completely opened the engine and replaced every component with racing parts. Camshaft, pistons, connecting rods, silencer and increased to 700cc with about 70 HP. An electronic push-button ignition has been inserted, Alquati manifolds, Dell'Orto double body carburettor and various Abarth components such as the rocker cover and the oversized oil sump, all the shock absorbers replaced, leaf springs with lowered suspension. Front disc brakes with braided hoses, synchronised gearbox, widened track, oversized wheels with alloy rims, rigid and stable set-up. It reaches 150 km per hour with ease in fourth gear at 9,000 rpm with a spectacular sound, and a fantastic crackling of the silencer can be heard when releasing the accelerator pedal. All the interior parts are the work of a very good Italian craftsman, made with smooth and suede leather and with embroidered Abarth logos. Abarth dashboard with tachometer, oil pressure, fuel level and speedometer, various warning lights, steel selectors on the dashboard, and a sweet sports steering wheel from the time. In the ending phase of the project, during the final assembly, all the accessories of this Abarth 695 SS were designed to best portray the reality of the time. Driving it is a unique, genuine, intense experience. All papers are present. It comes with its original number plates, and is ready to be exported.
