Fiat - 500 L - 1969

· Inspection valid until June 2021. · CRS (certificate of historical relevance) issued by ASI · Previous owners: 4DESCRIPTION: FIAT 500 luxury, coral red colour, registered in February 1969 (50 years old) with number plates and original registration certificate. Duly registered in the ASI register and with a certificate of historical relevance. Purchased 5 years ago; its body has already been completely restored. The underbody and the sheet metal are therefore all intact (considering its age) , while the paint is well polished although with some imperfection visible only to the expert eye. In any case, the 500 has always been stored in the garage. The engine is in good condition, no leakage, no trace of smoke (oil) , no abnormal noise. Only normal maintenance was necessary. Small defects in the paint visible to a careful and expert eye, no bubbles or rust, no dents, no accidents. The 500 has just passed the periodic inspection (next deadline in June 2021) . Summing up the expenses incurred in the last 4 years:
- remaking of the upholstery of the seats in an identical way to the origin;
- new front and rear bumpers;
- new tyres;
- gear knob, various coverings, number plate holder;
- front brake cylinders + brake lines;
- new front bearings + spindles; Engine maintenance:
- complete service;
- overhaul of carburettor + base plate;
- valve play adjustment. The 500 is equipped with an accessory of the time, a steering lock of “Bloster” brand (see photo) , fully functional. The door panels are the original ones of the time, with the signs of time, the same for the windscreen wipers and the frames of the deflectors; the gaskets are all replaced during the last work. The hood frame should be replaced (not done because it still works well) . Further details, the right dipped beam does not turn on and the indicator’s lever is reinforced by a rubber coating, but is fully functional.
