Fifth Avenue Crystal Cobalt Glass
9 in. Tall. A hand-blown art glass sculpture of a marlin or sailfish captured in a dynamic leaping pose. The stylized body is constructed of deep cobalt blue glass cased over a clear glass interior. The dorsal fin features multiple pointed spines in cobalt blue, while the pectoral fins, ventral fins, and the long, tapered rostrum are rendered in solid clear glass. The figure is mounted atop a clear glass base modeled to represent a cresting ocean wave.
