This rare vintage pair of French whimsical cast metal figural candlesticks date from the late 19th century & are highly detailed caricatures of street musicians. There is a man playing a violin & a woman playing a guitar. Both have their mouth open wide & appear to be singing. Each base is engraved with the signature of the maker Francois George. There is minor wear to the patina & these figures are highly sought after when offered.10 1/2" to 11" tall X 4 3/4" diameter
