Statue of a Male Saint Probably Saint Dominic (Founder of the Dominican Order) Painted Gesso on Wood with reverse painted Glass Eyes Late 19th Century French Colonial Removable Head 102cm tall 60x40cm wide and deep (approx) Condition commensurate with age, there are losses, cracks, overpainting and the base has been replaced. This is a pair with the Female Saint (Catherine of Sienna) in my other listing. They would have been together at the base of a large Crucifix.
