Statue of a Female Saint Probably Saint Catherine of Sienna (of the Dominican Order) Painted Gesso on Wood with reverse painted Glass Eyes Late 19th Century French Colonial 98cm tall 60x40cm wide and deep (approx) Condition commensurate with age, there are some losses, cracks, minimal overpainting and the base has been replaced. Good original condition though. This is a pair with the Male Saint (Dominic) in my other listing. They would have been together at the base of a large Crucifix.
