A lovely antique Chinese Blanc de Chine from the Dehua kilns (Fujian province) porcelain devotional figurine, depicting a Taoist scholar dignitary seated on a throne holding a pot, wearing a long gown, nicely detailed shoes and face. In the border a classical decoration of classical patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the early Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1670-1690) . The bottom is unglazed, showing craftsmanship, age and material. Guaranteed original and of the stated period. Height: 15,6 centimeter Provenance: Sotheby’s Monaco, 1984. Condition: The object is in overall good condition, small original holes near his moustache and beard, real hair should be inserted here (see similar on picture) , sanded down spot on the pot, neglectable baking imperfections, no real damages nor any restorations!
