8" x 10" folded. 1865 dated copy of land grant 1054 made out to a "Servis Klockart", for service in Captain Blanchard's Company "Phoenix Company", Louisiana Volunteers in the Mexican War. Captain Albert Blanchard raised a company in the 2nd Louisiana Volunteers for service in the US-Mexican War. When the Louisianna Volunteers were mustered out in 1846, Blanchard and the remaining men formed the "Phoenix Company", which continued fighting and saw service at Monterrey, Vera Cruz, and Chapultepec. **Very good condition. Some minor wear to corners and edges. Some staining. Seal in good condition.** $100-$200
