Filigree silver scent box - 18th century - Silver - Netherlands - Early 18th century

Beautiful filigree silver scent box with fine wire work with double-twisted cable edges. The lid is decorated with silver rosettes and stones (possibly Red Coral with Garnets) . The box has 4 rosettes, silver feet and was made in the 18th century or perhaps earlier. It was possibly made in The Netherlands or Germany. For filigree boxes see Wttewaal page 71. The box is in good condition with hardly any damage to the filigree work. Diameter is 3. 5 cm. Weight is 13 grams. Box was tested and is made of silver. The box is clearly not a 19th century item and is guaranteed to be at least 18th century.
