Fine 18th century Chinese Chippendale influenced giltwood overmantel mirror, having three pleasantly distressed mirrored plates within shaped carved frame with pagoda surmount, 101 x 125cm Provenance: believed to have been in the same family ownership since the 1920sCondition Report Dimensions as stated in the catalogue. Plate appears to be original and pleasantly distressed. Gilding also appears to be original. Significant very old bracing to rear, some splits and breaks to pagoda cresting, overall numerous losses to ornamental elements, also gesso losses and overall wear (see images) yet it presents very well and appears to mostly a good honest piece
