ANTIQUE CHINESE HAND-CARVED Bone CHESS SET WITH ORIGINAL wooden BOX. FINE Chinese 32-piece carved chess set in original silk hand-made fitted box, the figures ranging from 2.5”- 4" tall, the chessboard topped box measuring 18.5”x 19" x 4.25". The Kings and Queens are standing Emperors. The Bishops are represented as Mandarins. The Towers are very unusual Pagodas. Each of the Pawn carvings is different and is supposed to represent the Taoist Immortals.
