S. Keator, silked brown free endpapers, raised bands; back joint of volume 17 starting to separate, other scattered minor wear, spine of volumes 20-23 faded to brown, by The Riverside Press bindery. Additionally inscribed to Anna W. S. Keator and signed in volume 1 by John Burroughs. Photo frontispieces, other plates. Internally clean. Lacking volume 15, but Burroughs' pencil autograph manuscript and corrected type script for his "The Hungrey Sheep" widow mounted in a volume uniformly bound with the above set.
