Fine Early George III Carved Mahogany Serpentine-Fronted Dressing Chest of Drawers

Condition Report: The second drawer fitted with compartments and lacking a dressing mirror. In good restored condition with dark staining to the top. Minor veneer replacements, patches, scattered small age splits throughout. A 24 1/2 in. age split on the right side panel, previously with filler. Handles appear to be original and lacking escutcheons. Brush slide and drawers work well. Age splits to the bottoms of the drawers, the 3rd & 4th drawers with slight warping to the drawer bottoms. Recently polished. Previously fitted with casters. Structurally sound. Impressive scale.
