second quarter 19th century, by Francois Laslier (1808-1886), Paris, first standard (.950) silver gilt (the fruit knife blades .800 silver gilt), in the "Filet Coquille" ["Fiddle Thread and Shell"] pattern, for eighteen persons with seven pieces per setting and eight serving pieces, all monogrammed "CMP", presented in a later fitted black leather case by Puiforcat & Tabouret, lined in gray suede, with lift top and two lift-out trays, 5-3/4" x 17-3/4" x 13-1/2".
