Fine Provenance Dehua Vase - Porcelain - China - 19th century

Provenance: From a very fine USA sale of fine provenance Chinese art. This lot comes from the private collection of Mr. Juan Carlos Bahamonde who over a period of 20 years acquired his collection from various prestigious dealers. His degree in Archaeology from Manchester University, which is one of the best in the U. K. and passion for ancient history is reflected in this beautiful vase. The vase of GU form, the central section decorated with peony flowers and leafs, the neck and foot decorated with ancient stylised motifs. Height: 27. 9 cm. Condition: Very good overall, some use related wear and some manufacturing flaws that occurred during cooling such as on-the-glaze only cracks. NO repairs, NO chips, NO structural cracks.
