Fine and Rare Pour le Merit Blue Max Prussian Military

Fine and Rare Pour le Merit "Blue Max" Prussian Military Award; the piece is from the estate of a very avid collector of military memorabilia. It is a rare German medal and while we cannot establish the exact date of award, we do believe it to be an authentic post WW I award. This military medal is in very good condition, It does show some small chips in the enamel at the points of the Maltese cross, two points on the face, two points on the reverse. Please examine the photos closely. The piece measures approximately 2 1/4" in diameter. Â
