Fine quality 19th century interchangeable music box by Pallard and Vaucher et Fils, with six cylinders, zither, twin-barrel motor, in well figured burr walnut case, sitting on conforming stand with frieze drawer, housing a further five cylinders, on turned legs and castors, the music box 83cm wide, the table 100cm wide x 50cm deep x 84cm high Provenance: Property of the 6th Earl Howe of Gopsall Park and Penn House, thence by descent to a Lady of titleCondition Report Sound original condition, not running as there is some wear in the winding ratchet, the case and table are in good condition with a split in the lid and minor veneer repairs.
