Condition Report:
In good condition, the mounting with light scratches and scuffs commensurate with wear, and with minor splitting to the prongs seen under 10x magnification. Mounting stamped Pt for platinum. The mounting possibly Art Deco with a later-replaced shank. The diamonds, estimated to weigh a total of 0.40 carat, are approximately H-I color, predominantly VS clarity. The semi-transparent fire opal is a rich, bright reddish orange, eye-clean with minute abrasions. Accompanied by AGL report no. CS 61927 stating that the fire opal is natural, with no indications of treatment.
