Firestone Tires Sign
Made in Canada. 1921 - 1939. Single-sided porcelain (SSP). Firestone commissioned this return edge sign to be made with mounting flanges at the upper and lower edges. This limits mounting damage to the porcelain. Marked "The W.F. Vilas. Co. Limited. Cowansville P.Q." lower right. 24" x 59.25". Authenticated by The Authentication Company (TAC #402816). Very good colour and gloss. Minor field chips, particularly a 0.25" chip above the "R" in "Tires". Edge chips extending from return edge mounting holes. Shallow bend. Retains original mounting brackets.
