First Edition: Letter from Rabbi Menachem Mendle of Riminov Published Along with Petach Einayim by Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska; Munkacz, 1874

Petach Einayim on tractate Avos authored by the Chida, published under the supervision of Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska.

The last page includes a letter of encouragement and moral teachings dated 1812, from Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Riminov addressed to a disciple. The letter was published here for the first time.
An endorsement from Rabbi Tzvi Hirsch of Liska follows the title page and is dated 1872.
