Lattre's was the first map of the United States published after the ratification of the Treaty of Paris. Dedicated to Benjamin Franklin, one of the American signatories to the treaty. This example is the third of three states, with Vermont being added to the table, and the new federal city of Washinton D.C., being located on the map.
