Condition Report:
Overall in very good condition. Executed on cream wove paper. The pigment is fresh and strong in all five paintings. All five paintings present with light undulation to the page due to the weight of the pigment. (i) presents with a few possible losses though these may be inherent to the artist’s technique. (ii) presents with vertical cracking to the lower right corner and a tear to the upper left corner, measuring approximately 2 ¾ in. but not visually distracting. (iii) presents with some light craquelure due to the thick impasto, most noticeable in the yellow pigment in the upper register. (iv) presents with light creasing throughout the page though this may be inherent to the artist’s technique. Please note these works have not been examined out of their frames.
