Five Art Deco and Later Evening Purses, 1915-40's. Comprising a Mandalian gilt-metal and metal mesh purse, 1915-30, worked in a bow tie and geometric pattern, the gilt-metal filigree frame applied with leaves and turquoise-colored stones, marked "MANDALIAN MFG. CO.;" an Austrian jewelled, gilt-metal and beaded purse, worked in the pattern of a carpet, the large clasp applied with glass jewels and stones, marked "AUSTRIA;" a beaded purse worked with a star roundel and floral sprigs on a purple ground within a rose spray border, the chain strap attached to swans, key-shaped mark; and two needlework purses.
