Five pairs of 19th century Scottish silver sugar tongs, to include a George IV Fiddle pattern pair with shell grips, hallmarked Philip Grierson, Glasgow 1822, a William IV pair in Queen's pattern, hallmarked John Mitchell, Glasgow 1834, three Victorian pairs comprising a Fiddle Shell example, Edinburgh 1857, the other two of varying design and hallmarked Glasgow 1873 and 1874, various maker's marks, plus a further Georgian Scottish pair with bright cut engraved decoration, only monarch head and thistle visible and indistinct maker's mark (af). Weight 8.57 ozt (266.5 grams). (6). Dimensions: Condition Report: Group lot in mixed condition, all pieces displaying general surface wear, tarnishing, marks and scratches.
