Flack & Van Arsdale, Cornwall 3 Gallon Stoneware Crock
Cornwall, Ontario. 1869-1907. Salt-glazed stoneware. A wonderful open crock from the partnership of David Flack and Isaac Van Arsdale. An excellent stylized bird decoration that fills the entire front of the crock. Stamped, "Flack & Van Arsdale / Cornwall, Ont. / 3". 10" x 10.5" x 11". From the Darryl Silver Collection.
Condition Report: Spider hairline on reverse- downward 4.5" outward 1". Some staining along bottom, and one chip on the lip. Various stains and unglazed areas are marked by discolouration. Tight 3-inch hairline originating at the rim travelling downward inside the crock (not visible from outside).
