Antonio Citterio was born in Meda and lives and works in Milan. He graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico of Milan and has worked for many leading manufacturers since 1972, such as B&B Italia, Vitra, Kartell and Flexform. He has also been involved in architectural works related to construction projects and interiors, both in Italy and abroad. He lectures and conferences around the world and his work has been extensively exhibited and published. Flexform dates back to 1959 when the Galimberti brothers – Romeo, Pietro and Agostino – started the Flexform di Galimberti workshop. Flexform prides itself on creating pieces that are perfectly proportional and versatile enough to adapt to the needs of the user and the space in which they are placed. Flexform furniture is always elegant and refined in appearance and is recognizable by its timelessness and the use of high-quality, sustainably produced materials such as linen, cotton, cashmere and wood.
