Flintlock pistol with openwork and gilded metal decoration on a wooden frame, likely reassembled and redecorated in the Ionian Islands. Ottoman period, late 18th century (damaged and missing parts; it still has its original trigger guard, though it is detached). 78 cm. The openwork decoration on this weapon, strongly influenced by European styles, is characteristic of Ionian Island designs.
