26 x 30 inches. A decorative fire screen or wall-hanging featuring a central oil or acrylic still life painting on a wooden panel. The central image depicts a multi-colored bouquet consisting of red and orange roses, blue blossoms, and yellow flowers arranged in a classical-style footed urn decorated with a Greek key border. The painting is executed against a dark green and ochre background with visible, blocky brushstrokes. Surrounding the central image is an inner border of heavily textured cream-colored impasto applied in a stylized basket-weave pattern.
