The Florence sideboard is a linear piece of furniture in stained ash wood. The base of the Florence sideboard is a single piece in square 30 x 30 mm, 14. 5 cm high, chromed and polished. The top of the Florence sideboard is a single 2 cm thick Carrara marble slab. Florence designed this sideboard in 1961. The elegant design is clearly reminiscent of the impact of Mies van der Rohe. The iconic design of the Florence Knoll sideboard fits perfectly in the dining room and office. Measurements: 190 x 46 cm x H. 65 No key. This sideboard, shows small but normal signs of age. It was purchased in the early 70s for the offices of the Chase Manhattan bank in New York, It was David Rockefeller himself who decided that all the Bank's furniture was to be supplied by Knoll International. Throughout his long life, David Rockefeller was the number one of Chase Manhattan Bank, the institution that later gave birth to JPMorgan Chase.
