Ms. Kostarelos was born in Boston and attended Boston schools.She was an artist who painted landscapes, flower paintings, seascapes, still lifes and portraits and worked in oils, watercolors and pastels. She trained with many prominent artists.Her artistic memberships included Copley Society of Artists, Cape Cod Art Association, North Shore Art Association, Wellesley Society of Artists and Newton, Cambridge and Rockport art associations.She exhibited widely. Her solo exhibits included Gallery of World Art in Newton, Cape Cod Art Association and Copley Society of Artists.She also exhibited with Rockport Art Association, North Shore Art Association of Gloucester and Wellesley Society of Artists, among others.She was president of the Newton Art Association.Ms. Kostarelos enjoyed sailing and horseback riding.Overall: 28 1/2 x 34 1/2 in.Sight: 23 1/2 x 29 1/2 in.
