Flos - Achille Castiglioni, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni - Floor lamp - Toio - Plastic, Steel

[ translate ]

Toio Floor Lamp, new, never used, with original box - red.

Slender, slender and austere, the Toio floor lamp by Flos is one of the most beloved projects by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni. Steel base and steel profile structure, both liquid painted. Available in different color finishes.

Designed in 1962, Toio is a decidedly revolutionary floor lamp, born from the ready-made assembly of industrial objects, modified in their functions in an innovative guise. Composed of a 300 watt car headlight, imported in the early 1960s from the United States, and a telescopic stem inspired by a fishing rod, the Toio lamp by Flos diffuses indirect light into the environment. Easy to transport, it allows maximum flexibility, adaptability and functionality. Its name indicates the distortion of the English term toy, which means "toy". The Toio dei Castiglioni lamp expresses surprising genius, bringing the magic of a toy into the world of adults.

Features of the Toio floor lamp by Flos:
- Ground lighting fixture with indirect light.
- Base in sheared and bent steel and structure in steel profiles, both liquid painted, in various colours.
- Stem with hexagonal section in nickel-plated brass.
- The telescopic movement of the rod allows the height of the appliance to be adjusted.
- There is an electronic dimmer on the cable which allows step-by-step adjustment of the light intensity.

Light source:
1 x 300W alu. PAR 56 MFL 230/240V with dimmer (bulb NOT included) .

ATTENTION: Voltage for Italy and Europe
