Flos Studio (attributed to), mid-20th century, Netherlands
Sculptural table adorned with a mosaic
Coffee table
Mosaic tiles, metal
H44 L135 P65 cm
Good period condition, showing signs of age-related wear and a natural patina
A unique Dutch coffee table featuring an abstract, multicolored mosaic top in soft shades of blue, gray, ochre, terracotta, and purple.
The rectangular tabletop is framed by a dark metal border and rests on a sculptural and original metal base, characterized by elegantly curved legs and an organically shaped, twisted crossbar.
Thanks to its pictorial composition, the mosaic glass top could also be displayed on its own as a wall art piece, using a suitable mounting system.
Attributed to the Dutch studio “Atelier Flos,” renowned for its decorative glass and mosaic creations.
The table has retained its authentic vintage character; it shows visible signs of use as well as a natural patina resulting from the metal’s aging. Please refer to the photographs for more details.
