Fluorite, Calcite, Galena Denton Mine, Harris Creek Mining Sub-District, Hardin County, Illinois, USA 10.3 x 5.7 x 4.4 cm (4.06 x 2.24 x 1.73 in) A spectacular combination specimen of well formed Fluorite cubes (reaching 1.7 centimeters) and classic associations for Southern Illinois Fluorites. All across the display view are transparent purple Fluorites accented with minor stepped features and joined by isolated groups of steely grey Galena and small gemmy clear Calcite scalenohedrons.
