Fluorite Qinglong Mine (Dachang Mine), Dachang Sb ore field, Qinglong County, Qianxinan, Guizhou, China 8.3 x 7.7 x 4.3 cm (3.27 x 3.03 x 1.69 in) This lovely small-cabinet Fluorite has a beautiful contrast between the deeply purple Fluorites and the white Baryte matrix. Each cube of Fluorite is heavily modified with octahedral faces, all of which are covered in minor stepped growths that give the crystals a rough texture and nicely rounded bevel. Just below the darker zoning, which gives the Fluorite its color, is a translucent, almost transparent, colorless core that makes the Fluorite even brighter with backlighting.
