Fluorite with Sphalerite Dundas Quarry Ontario, Canada 3.93 x 2.69 x 1.94 inches (9.99 x 6.82 x 4.93 cm) One of the finer Dundas Quarry specimens, this extremely lustrous example is dominated by a cluster of root-beer-colored Fluorite crystals, which rests upon a typical hard rock matrix with hints of shimmer from microcrystalline coatings. The edges are remarkably sharp and in excellent condition, and the faces are very smooth with just the right amount of macromosaicity.
