6 panel roomdivider with a nice natural scene with a continuous painting on oxidized silver/goldleaf of 7 large cranes and 2 crane chicks and 2 turtles. Symbolising fortune and long life. The centre group of cranes is calling out for the flying crane arriving from the top right corner. The scene is painted against a background of a bamboo forest with fence with kiku flowers (chrysanthemum) , reeds and a lingering river. In decent original condition. With traces of age and use. See also the hinge part between the first and second panel on the right. The 2 outer panels on the backside have been replaced. Height: 172. 3. Total width: 348 cm (6 x 58 cm) Certificate of Authenticity will be added. Lot will be carefully packed and sent by registered shipping.
