6 panel roomdivider screen (byobu) with a very empty and subtle but still dynamic painting of many chidori birds (千鳥, Japanese for "a thousand birds" or "plover") flying and sitting on branches. Against an empty golden space and suzuki grasses. Painted on golden silk. In good original condition with some traces of age. On the backside of the screen the two outer panel paperbackings have been replaced. Height : 172 cm. Total width 360 cm ( 6 x times 60 cm) .
