Provenance: Cotton and cotton blend pictorial album quilt, all hand appliqued and hand quilted, with additional embellishments and hand-inked captions in the blocks. One of the blocks titles the quilt: "Our life in Washington State 1926 - 28 - 47 - 99" and the quilt features numerous churches, camps, tourist attractions (including an erupting volcano) and other memorabilia. There is quilting around the piecework and applique throughout at 6 stitches to the inch. The back is a chambray pink, the hand stitched binding is white, and the batting is thin.
