Follower of Johannes van Haensbergen Nymphs bathing in a classical landscape oil on copper 17 x 22.5cm

The painting is executed in oil on a copper support. There is a minor deformation at the right hand side, but overall the copper panel is in a good condition. The paint layers are in a stable condition overall with a few old, scattered losses. There are small, finely applied areas of overpaint which have discoloured, in the sky these have lightened and are very obvious. The varnish is clear and semi-glossy.
