Follower of Joos van Cleve Putti frolicking oil on copper, octagonal 19 x 19cm

The painting is executed in oil on a copper support. The copper is in a good condition and is in plane with no severe deformations. The paint layers are stable overall but have suffered from wear and abrasion in the dark background. There is staining across the surface in the form of small, brown spots which are likely to be associated with the paint layer. A thin varnish is present which is clear and even.
