Condition Report:
Last Supper: The panel is slightly bowed. There is intermittent cracking running vertically along the lower 1/5th of the panel with some light associated flaking. One or two areas of scuffing to the centre table (visible in catalogue illustration) light craquelure throughout together with some surface dirt. There appears to be an area of repair approx. 1cm square to the right shoulder of the figure being held by christ. Inspection under UV reveals light patches of retouching throughout. There are also traces of a green cloudy varnish. Magdalene: The panel is slightly bowed. There is an area of cracking to the panel approx. 20cm at the lower left corner. There is a further smaller area of cracking to the upper left edge approx. 5cm. Craquelure and light surface dirt throughout with one or two other areas of more severe flaking. Inspection under UV reveals re-touching scattered throughout particularly to the cracked areas mentioned above. A green cloudy varnish is also visible.
