Sculpture, bronze figurine from Vienna representing a hunting trophy: a crocodile skin.
It is signed on the back with the stamp of the famous Austrian foundry Bergmann created by Franz Xaver Bergman and stamped "AUSTRIA".
Estimated period: 20th century.
Superb condition. The bronze was cold painted and the colors are very well preserved.
Lots of finesse in the representation, particularly in the look of the crocodile or in the numerous scales.
This skin is all the more detailed as the predator's mouth is open and we can observe all its teeth.
Dimensions: 1 x 6. 5 x 12 cm.
Mass: 76 grams.
