Ford - Corsair V4 1.7 liter De Luxe - 1966
Very nice and original Ford Corsair with an original V4 (81 hp, 1. 7L) engine from 1966. The V4 engine is of course very special, Saab also used this engine, the design is from Ford. The engine vibrates very little, it accelerates well and has a nice, special sound. The Corsair has a four-speed gearbox with a paddle shifter and many nice details. The car has Dutch papers and was delivered new in the Netherlands in March 1966. The Corsair is now exempt from Dutch periodic inspections and road tax due to its age. If needed, the car can be delivered with EU export papers free of charge for easy registration of the Ford in the buyer’s country. Nice, complete car with a lot of allure, a real eye-catcher. The car is in neat, used condition, there are of course some rust spots which will need addressing at some point, see photos. The interior is very neat, the car starts, drives, shifts and brakes well, and is ready for use. The cooling water temperature gauge is very positive and the warning light stays off, the car comes up to temperature well. Some parts are included. Professional welding to the bottom was carried out over the years. The car was neatly sprayed about 20 years ago, there are some imperfections but it’s generally neat. This Corsair is complete, the chrome is very neat. In short, a beautiful and special classic that will only increase in value. The car is in Hengevelde, the Netherlands. The seller can arrange relatively inexpensive transport throughout the EU, even now during the coronavirus crisis.
