Ford - Ka Luigi Colani - 1999

At the Essen Motor Show 1998, Ford presented a redesign of the Ka aerodynamically optimised by Luigi Colani, which met with great demand and was produced in a small series of 200 units. Typical for Colani, its design language is reflected in particular in the front, rear and wing mirrors, as well as in the sweeping distribution that houses the wide wheels used in the Colani small series. These cars have a plaque on the dashboard and a certificate signed by Luigi Colani. In addition to the leather steering wheel, airbags and electric sunroof, the power steering is particularly noteworthy as it ensures moderate steering behaviour in combination with the wide wheels of the Colani small series. The condition can be described as moderate, as there are many traces of use and amateurish repainting (poor paint quality and different colour shades) . The interior is dirty. German vehicle documents are of course available. German MOT (TÜV) valid until 07/2020. The Colani can be viewed in Eschweiler (Germany) . Eschweiler is close to Aachen and is about 60 km away from Cologne and Dusseldorf.
