Ford - Mustang - 1968

[ translate ]

This Mustang is in authentic and mechanically restored condition and has stood still for a long time indoors. The automatic transmission was fully overhauled, including transmission oil radiator, restoring of the transmission housing, the housing was sandblasted ( more than € 5000 spent for the transmission alone - with warranty) . The interior is still in original condition and has no wear. Second lacquer (American) with some light scratches in places as can be expected from a 50-year-old car, it has been lightly touched-up. All instruments and electrical accessories work. The economic 6-cylinder 3. 3L in-line engine has a nice sound to it and can easily cope with traffic. Really a pretty picture with its lacquer and beautiful chrome, it also has a nice "C-Stripe". It has front disc brakes and rear drum brakes and whitewall tyres. New delco, spark plugs, ignition wires, battery, full exhaust and manifold rubber are brand new, the shock absorbers, steering are in excellent condition. No expense was spared to get this car moving and it is mechanically completely in order. This Mustang is in very nice, authentic, running condition and has a beautiful typical 1960s colour: lime gold metallic. This Mustang belonged to a real enthusiast and comes from the east coast of the United States. This is an original T-code Mustang with a lot of potential. First generation Mustangs are increasingly difficult to find in recent years and increase significantly in value, certainly the '67-'68 models are highly sought after and are viewed by many as the most beautiful Mustangs ever made. So grab this opportunity to become the new owner of this American pride! In addition, it is a great investment opportunity with good future returns. In terms of date you're fine in Belgium: it was made in 1968, it needs an inspection every 5 years (new rules for classic cars) . Expect signs of wear on a car from ‘68! Don’t expect a new one. This very beautiful Mustang can be viewed and picked up in De Pinte, Belgium.
