R.F. Ford "Texas Star" Bit & Spur SetMassive spurs with 1 1/4" band in the Star and Crescent pattern. 3-tone (silver, brass, copper) overlays and a 20-point, 2 1/2" rowel. Makers mark with No. 2253. Matching buckle on the tooled straps, which are marked “LIZ FORD”. (Liz was Ford’s wife, and made most of his straps.) The matching curb bit is 6 3/4" long with a 5" mouth. Marked “R.F. FORD - 560.”
