Ford - Taunus 17M P2 De Luxe "NO RESERVE" - 1961

Ford Taunus from 1961 model two-tone De Luxe. Very rare version, made in Germany and delivered to Italy, one of very few, with its five-digit number plates and registration certificate (see photos) . This version, called “De Luxe”, was inspired by 1950s American fashion with large chrome bumpers and a wide, spacious interior, domed glass and chrome trim. It is a good piece, very rare. The car is complete and original, is solid, has never undergone a total restoration and has a beautiful patina, with even some signs of time; It is in working order and can be driven. The technical inspection was passed in September 2021 and is valid until September 2023, however the car is a direct purchase from the previous owner and some maintenance may be required in the short term, for example, some parts of the electrical system are to be overhauled. A new set of tyres with real whitewall have just been installed, as well as a new battery. Car registered with ASI (Automoclub Storico Italiano) with certificate (see photos) .
